What is QP?
Querido Padre is a mental health brand designed for children separated from a loved one due to immigration.
Through letter-writing, emotional support, and storytelling, we help them stay connected to the ones they love — and find hope in the process.
At Querido Padre, we believe no child should have to carry the weight of separation.
We created a trauma-informed journal to support children experiencing family separation due to immigration. It’s filled with letter prompts, coping skills, emotional check-ins, and affirmations — all crafted with love and care.
We work directly with shelters, schools, and nonprofit organizations to get this journal into the hands of children who need it most.

For $20, you can send a journal to a child in a shelter who has been separated from their loved one due to immigration circumstances.
Additionally, if you purchase one of our T-shirts for $35, a journal will be sent just the same.
